Bags larger than 8in x 6in x 2in (20cm x 15cm x 5cm) are not allowed
*Exceptions: essential medical provision or baby changing items requiring larger bags.
All bags are subject to search to gain entry into the stadium.
What is allowed into Manchester United matches at Old Trafford?
- Mobile phones (must fit into pocket)
- Small fold up umbrellas
- Small bottles of hand gel
- Small bags 8in x 6in x 2in (20cm x 15cm x 5cm)
- Non offensive flags or banners 2m x 1m or less (Must not include sticks / pole, must meet fire regulations. See below for further details of the flags you cannot bring into the stadium
- Clear plastic bottles of water 500ml or less, with the top removed
- Megastore purchases in Megastore carrier bags
- Crutches and walking aids

Bag Storage at Old Trafford
Manchester United Football Club offers ‘bag drop’ facilities around the stadium for £5 per item. Using these facilities may delay your entry into the stadium, so they recommend that you arrive 2 hours before kick-off.
There may be a queue, and all of your items will be searched before using their bag storage facilities. There are 6 bag drop options around Old Trafford (1 for away fans). The storage facilities are manned throughout the whole time, so security is not an issue, but your items are stored at your own risk.
They do not offer advanced bookings, as it is simply a walk-in service. These bag storage facilities are only offered on match days.
